PA Gaming Control Board Announces New Location For Somerset County Public - Input Hearing
HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced a new location for the Wednesday May 3, 2006, public-input hearing on a proposed gaming facility that would be located at the Seven Springs Resort in Somerset County.
The new location is the Quality Inn & Conference Center at 215 Ramada Road, Somerset, near the Somerset Exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
All individuals, community groups and local government representatives registered to speak at the hearing, as well as the applicant, are being notified by mail about the change in location of the hearing.
The change of location was necessary because the originally announced site, the Hidden Valley Resort, was no longer available due to a change in ownership.
The May 3, 2006, hearing remains open to the public and the media, and all previously announced procedures for the hearing remain in effect. For further details, visit the PGCB Web site, www.pgcb.state.pa.us, and click on "Public Input Hearings" on the home page.
