Director of the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling

Elizabeth LanzaElizabeth Lanza is the Director of the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling (OCPG) at the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). As Director, Liz oversees the state’s Self-Exclusion Programs, administers casino and iGaming licensees’ Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plans, develops responsible gambling regulations and collaborates with other state agencies as well as state, national, and international problem gambling organizations on gambling disorder prevention, education, awareness and outreach. Liz has made presentations at the National Council on Problem Gambling’s (NCPG) annual conferences, the Council on Compulsive Gambling of PA’s annual conferences, for the PA State Police’s Member’s Assistance Program, for PA universities and has presented at several addiction conferences and symposiums. Liz is on the board of the Association of Problem Gambling Service Administrators and serves as the Chair of the NCPG’s Membership Committee. In October 2005, Liz started at the PGCB as a press aide and became the Program Coordinator for the OCPG in 2007. Liz was selected as the Director of the OCPG in 2010.

Prior to her work at the PGCB Liz was employed by the Pennsylvania Lottery. Liz graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelors of science in Public Policy.
