PA Gaming Control Board Approves Manufacturer, Supplier Licenses
HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today voted unanimously to approve licenses for three companies that filed applications to be manufacturers of slot machines and associated equipment in the Commonwealth. Separately, the Board voted unanimously to approve licenses for 12 companies that filed applications to be suppliers of slot machines and associated equipment.
All licenses are subject to a series of conditions set by the Board to ensure that the requirements of the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act, and Board rules and regulations are met.
"Approving these licenses is another major step forward for gaming in Pennsylvania," said Tad Decker, chairman of the Board.
By considering the manufacturer and supplier licenses today, the Board fulfilled its statutory obligation to consider manufacturer and supplier licenses at least 90 days before it votes on any operator licenses, Decker said. Today's votes keep the Board on track for considering operator license applications as early as September 2006, he added.
The Board today approved manufacturer licenses for the following companies:

The Board today approved supplier licenses for the following companies:

* Betson Coin-Op Distributing Co.
* Currency Counting Consultants Inc.

* Modern Gaming Pennsylvania LLC
* PA Gaming Supply Co.
* PAP Security Printing Inc.
* Parkside Gaming LLC
* Patriot Gaming & Electronics Inc.
* PENNSLOT Inc.
* Pennsylvania Coin & Slot LLC
* TDN Money Systems
Separately, the Board today considered additional applications for manufacturer and supplier licenses and directed that the applications be returned to staff for further information-gathering and/or investigation.
The manufacturer applications that were considered are:

* Power Gaming LLC
* RDA Casino Supply LLC
* Revenco Gaming LLC
* Winner Security LLC

Under the Race Horse Development and Gaming Act, also known as Act 71 of 2004, the Board is responsible for licensing 14 gaming facilities across the state and ensuring the integrity of the acquisition and operation of slot machines and associated equipment. The Board has jurisdiction over every aspect of the authorization and operation of slot machines in the Commonwealth.
