May Table Games Revenue Up 4% Over Previous Year
Overall casino revenue also slightly higher in May
HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that revenue from the play of table games at the 12 Commonwealth casinos during May of 2015 was up 4% over revenue generated for the same time period last year.
According to a report posted today on the Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, May’s gross table games revenue generated $66,748,021 or $2,570,929 higher than in May 2014 when revenue totaled $64,177,092.
The Board also reported that the resulting tax revenue produced from table games play in May was $9,590,331. There was an average of 1,126 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.
Table games gross revenue along with the percentage change for each of the casinos during May 2015 compared to May 2014 is as follows:

About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board:
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board was established in 2004 and is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state’s casino industry. There are 10 stand-alone and racetrack casinos in operation, along with the two resort casinos. These facilities collectively employ over 17,000 people and generate an average of $3.7 million per day in tax revenue from slot machine and table games play. The largest portion of that money is used for property tax reduction to all Pennsylvania homeowners with additional tax revenue going to the horse racing industry, economic development projects, fire companies, county fairs, water and sewer projects, the Commonwealth’s General Fund, and to local governments that host casinos.
